The sequel to the Anitore! EX series of shorts, Anitore! XX once again aims to provide cute girls for you to exercise with, in the form of Asami Hoshi and friends. With each episode sitting at 4 minutes in length, the girls of Anitore! XX go through various exercises that you can do at home, with the aim of keeping fit, and improving their chests! Not sure how the chest thing is relevant to the viewers but we're hardly going to argue. Alternatively, of course, you can simply sit and enjoy watching the girls exercise, in fact, this is without a doubt the main draw of the series. A similar idea to the exercise with an anime character smartphone apps that recently popped up, while we can't vouch for Anitore! XX's fat busting ability, we can guarantee that if it's anything like its predecessor then it's a wonderful source of fan service. While not really an ecchi show, the onslaught of short shorts, loose tops, and gratuitous camera angles will not leave you wanting, along with a host of cute girls, including a fanged tsundere, sweet-talking lady, and a deluded fallen angel. So if you're after some quick but delicious fan service without the commitment of an actual storyline, then this is the show for you. Unfortunately, there is no trailer for Anitore! XX out yet, but check out the video for its prequel, Anitore! EX, below to get an idea of what it's all about!

So here's a spin-off of Ultraman no one ever expected. With the planet now enjoying a more peaceful period, the monsters previously defeated by Ultraman have been reborn into the world as cute girls! Yes, Kaijuu Girls literally takes the Kaijuu monsters from the live-action Ultraman series and transforms them into cute, chibi monster girls. Although we can't be sure quite what the series will involve yet, you can probably expect comedy and slice-of-life antics, along with plenty of cute girls doing cute things. Another short series for the list, if you enjoy shows like last season's Onigiri then we'd highly recommend giving Kaijuu Girls a try. Although we don't know how much fan service might be in the series, we'd recommend fans of Monster Musume pick this up too, just for the rare glimpse of pretty, anime monster girls. Be sure to check out the trailer below for a look at some of the cuties that will be arriving, and with artists from Nitroplus and pixiv behind the character designs, we can almost guarantee that at the very least, Kaijuu Girls is gonna be hella pretty.

The world of middle school ping pong is a mess after the fall of their previous champion. So now is the perfect opportunity for Koyori Tsumujikaze, a transfer student at Suzumegahara Middle School, to smash her way to the top. Along with a team of other cute ping pong playing girls of course. Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume or the easier to pronounce Ping Pong Girl is the next big thing for cute girls playing sports. With a pretty ecchi manga to draw from, we can hope for plenty of fanservice from Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume, with small, tight bloomers, gallons of sweat, and girls who enjoy ping pong a little bit too much. The PV suggests that they're going in a more cutesy, moe direction with the anime, but much like similar series such as Ro-Kyu-Bu, there's no doubt that they'll still keep most of the fanservice. One interesting point to note is that the director Yasuhiro Irie also directed Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, so whether his previous success will rub off on Ping Pong Girl, only time will tell.

Now here's blast from the past, more than 10 years after it's last episode aired, Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki is back for a fourth season, with several voices from previous series reprising their roles. The series focuses on Tenchi Masaki, an ordinary boy who is also the heir to his family's shrine. Accidently, he manages to release a "demon" from its 700 years of captivity in a mountain shrine, only the so-called "demon" turns out to be space pirate Ryoko Hakubi. As you would expect, this is the perfect time for more alien girls to show up, as Tenchi learns more about who he really is and acquires a harem of beautiful girls in the process. Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki is up there with Ah! My Goddess and Love Hina as one of the original harem series about, so you can guarantee an authentic harem experience. If you enjoyed either of those classics or newer series like To Love-Ru or Date A Live, you'll likely find something to love in Tenchi Muyou. It'll be very interesting to see how much of an update the art and animation gets, given that the previous entries to the series are starting to look a bit dated now. Judging from the visuals released so far, though, AIC are doing a great job of upping the quality without losing the retro look the series has. As an OVA, Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki's episodes are going to be seriously spaced out, but we think that just gives you more time to catch up on the previous three seasons! Another sequel for the list, Okusama ga Seitokaichou!+! continues the story of student council president wannabe Hayato Izumi and his wife to be Ui Wakana. After Ui beat him to the presidency by handing out condoms to all the students, Hayato was forced to accept his position as the student council vice president instead. To add salt to the wound, the cute and crazy girl then turned up at his apartment, announcing that she was not only his fiancee but would be living with him from now on. As adorable as Ui is, though, it's all a bit much for Hayato, with not just her but a few other girls getting him into only the lewdest of situations. Well if you were sad to see Summer's Masou Gakuen HxH go, then here's your replacement. The previous season of Okusama ga Seitokaichou! has some of the raunchiest ecchi about, which is no surprise considering the studio Seven has actually made some pretty decent hentai before. Along with the borderline hentai came a super cute harem of girls that will not leave you wanting, so we can likely expect the same quality ecchi harem package from this sequel. There's no word on the duration of the series yet, but with the prequel being short at around 10 minutes per episode, expect the new series to follow a similar line. So if you're a fan of seriously ecchi series like Kiss X Sis or Shimoneta, we'd highly recommend checking out Okusama ga Seitokaichou!+!.

Yes, that is eight exclamation marks, which is exactly how excited you should be about this show. Keijo follows talented gymnast Nozomi Kaminashi, who has turned her eyes away from gymnastics and instead towards the gambling sport of Keijo, with hopes of earning riches for her poor family. In Keijo, girls battle with their butts and breasts to knock each other off of small platforms in the water with big bucks at stake. Now training along with the other students at Seto City Keijo Training School, will Nozomi have what it takes to whip hips alongside the pros? From Xebec, the studio that brought us Love Hina, To Love-Ru, and Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, comes yet another fan service filled series, and if the current trailer is anything to go by it'll leave no ecchi fan disappointed. With not a male character in sight bar the cheering audience, it's cute girls all the way down, and fingers crossed we can bet on some yuri action as well. There aren't a whole lot of sports ecchi anime out as of yet, but with Keijo!!!!!!!! and the ping pongers of Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume on the way, hopefully, it's a genre which sees some success in the coming Fall season.

Vivid strike features Fuuka and Rinne; two girls who lived together in an orphanage. They were broke beyond measure and have had to endure various forms of bullying and hardships. Fuuka is the hardened of the two girls who has accepted the sad past that they were dealt and uses it to not only power herself but to find the girl that she lost, Rinne. Fuuka is going to wrap herself in fights constantly as she lets her fists do the talking. Rinne is a tender girl who was crushed by the reality of their pasts. Gentle and kind, she only wants to be with Fuuka, with whom, she was raised like a sister. To be honest, this show falls at the bottom of this list for a myriad of reasons. While it is clear from the character descriptions that it is going to be some sort of military, fighting anime, there is not much clear information on it that has been released as of yet. This is one of those, “watch and see” shows! However, Vivid Strike! is part of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid series. It is a spin-off and not a direct sequel or prequel, so, fans who are into this franchise and series should keep an eye on this one for sure! With the successes of many idol anime like Love Live! and Idolm@aster, it makes sense that yet again, we will have another idol anime each season. This one is the ladies version. There is a male version as well for those who are interested. Set in a future not too far from ours, idols have taken over the world! Well, so to speak they have. What happens this time around is that idols are in such demand, that there are now academies that produce idols. The dream has fully been realized; don’t learn, just become an idol! This takes us Vivi Lin, and the group she is a part of called StarRing. They all attend an academy that used to churn out global star after global star. However, tragically, they no longer are able to do that! Even worse, the school is in a total slump and not even able to produce any idols of notoriety. Now, idols gather here to try and become the best and stand on the top of the Idol Ring! Idol fans gather fast because this will be your show of the season. Idol Memories has also been developed to be VR friendly since that is the way that the world is going, and they have released VR music videos for StarRing allowing you to be in the anime if you have the proper equipment! However, it does fall short a little bit. Love Live! Sunshine!! just went off the air and considering that that was one of the most popular shows this Summer in Japan, Idol Memories has a lot to accomplish. Also, take out idol ring and a global stage and replace it with Love Live, and you literally have the exact same plot. The girls need to save the school, but can they? Idol fans unite!

Awkwardly change the names of countries and you have the newest war/fictional/historical anime! Akin to the idea of Junketsu no Maria, Shuumatsu no Izetta follows Izetta who is a descendant of witches that have somehow inherited powers that have been passed down from generation to generation. She can control anything that she touches. Moving around Europe to hide this, Germania (totally not Germany in WWII) in 1940 has decided to conquer all of Europe. Eylstadt is a tiny country that Izetta happens to be located in when Germania attacks. Judging from the PV, Izetta, can ride a gun like it is a broom in the traditional sense of a witch. She comes into contact with Fine, the heir in line to the throne of Eylstadt and a war breaks out as Germania’s invasion begins! This already seems like what we stated in the introduction, to be somewhat similar to Junketsu no Maria and could hold promise, though. Strike Witches did very well for itself and Shuumatsu no Izetta could also do very well for itself. The difference that Izetta has is that it runs the risk of failing more. SW had multiple witches with different personalities and weapons while Izetta has only one. However, the journey of Izetta finding out who she is and clearly helping Eylstadt could be a very big draw point to the series. Regardless this is one to keep an eye on for sure. If it goes big, that would be great!

Matoi is just another normal girl living in the countryside who goes to middle school. There she hangs out with her best friend Yuma Kusanagi. As a part-time job, she works with Yuma at Yuma’s family shrine. A fateful day comes when Yuma and Matoi arrive at the shrine and see that Yuma’s parents have been attacked by the shrine god?! Thinking quickly, Yuma performs an exorcising, purifying ritual… but it backfires. The deity does not go back into the shrine, but rather into Matoi! Suddenly Matoi’s everyday live is thrust upside down as she now has to exorcise evil spirits as a magical girl! Hmm… Anime set in the countryside, where there is a girl who works in a shrine but becomes a magical girl? Kuma Miko meets Noragami without the bad ending? We are intrigued. This, yet again, could be similar to Noragami, where we are introduced to various deities from Shinto while getting a good show. This is also good to note that a lot of people will be watching this as it is studio WHITE FOX”s first ever original anime. They are the studio behind shows like Re:Zero, Steins;Gate, Akame ga Kill, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, and much more. Keep an eye out for this one. This could become a mega-hit.

One day, two girls are swept up into another world. While trying to figure out where they are, it is explained that they now live in a world called “Pure Illusion”. In this world, they now have to search for the fragments of mimi or “Mimi no Kakera”. The strange thing about it is it is not really explained why they must search, but when danger approaches Cocona and Papika, the fragments shine and they must transform into magical girls! Now facing all sorts of trials and difficulties, they must overcome them all to make their wishes come true. Flip Flappers... If there was a show with a strange name, it would be this one. However, the story might not be as flat mahou shoujo as it appears. While the art style is very unique and different, the fighting scenes and animation hark back to the series Birdy the Mighty. We could be looking at the next Madoka Magica. The PVs, while revealing, do indicate that something else could be potentially going on in the background and we are just getting the bright and flashy part upfront. It’s hard to categorize this series as well from the studio, 3Hz, because their only claims to fame are Dimension W, which aired Winter 2016, and Sora no method from two years ago. Regardless, this could be adorable with the two girl’s personalities being cute and contrasting, or it could get very dark very fast since so much information has been withheld from the official website. Smack dab in the middle of seasons one and two of Strike Witches, comes Brave Witches! Yet again, we will see the adorable girls of the military, wearing nothing but underwear, shirts, and magic flying leg gear, take off into the sky to fight the enemy of humanity. Who is the enemy of humanity? The Neuroi. They appeared sometime in the 1930s in Europe and the only way to subdue their destruction is to fight back with magical girls and their weapons. Strike Witches followed the 501st Joint Fighter Wing as they take down the Neuroi in Gallia in Western Europe. Now secure, the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing, Brave Witches, is sent out to take out the Neuroi who have set up shop in the country of Orussia. Hikari and her sister Takami work together to take out this new threat! Somewhere in a corner, Bee-kun is crying tears of joy much like we are. Strike Witches was very well received in Japan and it is clear that this is an extension as they try to bring more people into the fandom. Set in the same time as Shuumatsu no Izetta, Brave Witches has more girls to get to know and like! Silver Link is at the helm and they will not be messing around with what could be another success on their hands. Check out the PV below and get excited!

Plasmagica is back again in the second season of Show By Rock!! #. This time, though, the girls are not messing around. They will be pushing even further now into the industry to become a top band. Cyan, ChuChu, Retoree, and Moa now have to face off against a more daring and sexy boy band. It seems too from the PV that not all is going to be easy for the girls, this time, around as they are being attacked? This is not going to be easy! Can they rise to the top? Next up is Show By Rock!! #. The first season was a success and just had Show by Rock!! Short!!, so you inevitably knew that this one was coming. The girls are back and this time, they have no idea what their fates are. Thankfully, Show By Rock!! # is very clear cut and you know if you will like it or not. Snow White along with her friends is playing a popular social game called “Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku”. However, it seems like some people who do play the game can actually become real magical girls! All they need to do is collect the candy! Until… there is an announcement one fateful day. It turns out that the cute mascot character announced that there are too many magical girls in real life. The numbers need to be culled. What does that mean? It means that half of the magical girls need to cease. How? Well… they have not said, but what begins next is a savage and hard race to survive as now everyone is suddenly your enemy. Woooo, this last one's a doozy and they do admit that this is going to get dark. We love it! Anything that can take a trope and twist it promises a good story. That is why this show is number one! Of all of the shows on this list, this one is going to very much challenge us. No three episode viewing rule is necessary this time around as we all are going to be watching this show hands down. Ultimately, their main goal is to destroy the Tora no Ana! For starters, this is a new series of the retro anime Tiger Mask, and it will bring back a lot of memories for a lot of people. If you remembered ever knowing about this anime as a kid or a teenager, then get yourself ready for a new animated series packed with adrenaline wrestling matches in Tiger Mask W!

This comedy, slice-of-life themed anime centers on Ami Kurata, an average girl who’s terrible with any kind of sport that ever existed. But after a fateful encounter with a collapsible bicycle that she saw at a train station, she instantly fell in love with it, and right at that moment, she withdrew all her money to get herself one just like it. Problem is, she hates exercising, which is ironic, but will her newfound love for bikes overwhelm her hatred towards exercising? Watch to find out what happens in Long Riders! As you might’ve already noticed, the world of anime has only a few cycling themed series. But after the recent rising popularity of Yowamushi Pedal, Actas Studios took the same plunge into making another cycling themed anime. This time, it’s starring a lot of female characters. Although this is not the adrenaline packed, suspenseful and thrilling, sports anime you’re looking for, Long Riders! would surely give you a laugh every now and then. You will be pulled into the daily life of the main character, Ami Kurata, and her love for bicycles!

Skating gracefully to the number 2 spot of this Fall season’s anime is Yuri!!! on Ice. Just like the title, the main character of this anime is Yuri Katsuki, a renowned figure skater that made it to the Gran Prix Finale. Unfortunately, Yuri cracked under pressure and ultimately suffered a crushing defeat. He then returned home to Kyushu, seeking peace and solitude, as he is confused and uncertain about continuing his figure skating or retiring altogether. This anime shines as an original series, meaning there is no Manga available prior to the animation. Follow this anime as it takes you on a journey of an emotional roller coaster, making you empathize on the protagonist along the way. If you are looking for a heartwarming anime, then prepare to be dazzled with the gracefulness of figure skating in, Yuri!!! on Ice!

Taking the number 1 spot of the Sports Anime for Fall 2016 is, All Out!! Let’s turn our attention to the short-statured Kenji Gion, who attended Kanagawa High School. Despite his height, Kenji is full of guts and witt in terms of personality. With that, he stumbled upon the school’s rugby team and decides to join it. There, he meets a few other individuals, each with their own set of unique personalities. Together, will they be able to work out their differences and win it all? Find out more in this thrilling, adrenaline-choked anime series, All Out!! Having been placed in the 1st position of this sports anime list, the appeal for this Shounen themed anime resides mostly on the characters. It’s really interesting to see the wide set of different and unique characters, as we anticipate the relationship within the rugby team as well as their character development. It’s going to be something to look forward to in this anime. Nevertheless, it looks promising!
