Synopsis

Long ago, when the feared Dark Emperor of the Gods put Spirit World in danger of destruction, the heroes of the time sealed the powers of evil with the powers of the Twelve Emperors of the Gods. Much time has passed since then, but now, a new evil has appeared, trying to revive the dark deity king. Shunta Mogami, who loves battle spirits, is one day led by a card and summoned to the Spirit World. Eto, the shrine maiden who summoned Shunta, tells him that the spirit world is in danger of complete destruction should the Dark Emperor of the Gods be revived. In order to stop this from happening, the power of the Twelve Emperors of the Gods must be gathered. Led by Eto, Shunta and another boy who has been summoned, Yoku Albatrossa, set out on a journey to search for the Twelve Emperors of the Gods who are scattered across the earth.
